What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. Perhaps they are not the stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.

Beautiful Melissa, why did you have to go so soon, I wish I could have done more, I am sorry you had to suffer so much pain during those nine weeks you were in the hospital. I am so grateful that we were able to let you know we were there for you and be with you went you left this earth to go to the Lord.
I want you to know that I talked to Detective Braden today and the DA still has not made a determination, I just pray that they have enough to charge him, he needs to pay for what he did to you and I don't want another family to go through what we have.
Brianna and Chasidy love you very much, Brianna left a message on Michelle's blog about you.

Good Morning Sweet Melissa...I don't have any memories of you, but I'm making some by coming to your page every day, if not every other day...I read every thing written about you, and you are an awesome person, and a Wonderful Mother..You are now an Angel in Heaven watching over all your family and friends...Now knowing that you are in heaven, I know there is a Wonderful and Awesome Mother up there, helping watch out for my Beautiful Babies..You Are very Loved down here Melissa by all your Family and Friends...May you Rest in Peace..
